govt is increasing tax rebate on home loans from existing 1.5l to 2.5l...i guess....plus RBI is expected to cut the rates in march.....so i guess this is the right time to take a home loan.......as per financial experts...1/3rd of your income must go into investment ...i dont see any investment better than this i guess.....

i have taken a home loan from HDFC....only for the reason they do not have any pre payment charges.....only HDFC and UTI has this facility...rest all the banks charge for the same.....another thing iprefer taking it from a private bank and their processing is fast as well as the service is also good.....if let us say i want to buy a flat in delhi i can appy in hdfc chennai for the same.....but govt banks won't allow you like this you have to take a loan from the branch present in tht city....even the emi cheques you can deposit in any branch all over india...these all reasons suit my need...

That's great...So I think even i should apply to HDFC home loan.
