EMAAR proved to be total flop...Are people scared of investing after recent crash?

or people busy investing in tax saving instruments?

Secondary mkt is so better these days.. nearly all stocks are 20% less than their life high.. So better invest in secondary where u get a chance to sell whenever u want then to invest in primary and wait for allotment. These days market is so volatile u never know what is going to happen to the mkt when ur IPO is listing.

Yes...
Emaar and wockhardt have both withdrawn their IPOs due to pathetic response...

Bad time for IPOs.. Confidence has to come back on this makt.. till then volatility will continue..
